Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Armor Trailers (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the following terms, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Orders & Deposits

  1. An order is considered confirmed and accepted once a deposit of $500 or 10% of the final purchase price (whichever is greater) has been received and cleared in our bank account.
  2. Orders will not be processed until the deposit has been received.
  3. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of collection, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Collection & Pickup

  1. Once the deposit is received, our sales team will provide an estimated pickup date and time.
  2. Pickup dates provided for online orders are estimates only until confirmed by our sales team.
  3. A pickup date and time is considered confirmed only after written or verbal confirmation from our sales team.
  4. Customers will be notified as soon as their order is ready for collection, whether earlier than or on the estimated date.
  5. Customers are encouraged to contact our sales team if there are any changes to their pickup arrangements, even at short notice.

3. Cancellations & Change of Mind

  1. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
  2. Trailer orders may be cancelled for valid reasons, subject to the following deductions:
  • Registration fees (if already processed)
  • 10% administration fee plus GST based on the final purchase price
  1. Any non-recoverable third-party costs (e.g. permits, special orders) may also be deducted where applicable.
  2. This policy does not limit your rights under ACL, including your right to a refund, repair, or replacement for a major failure.

4. Parts & Accessories – Returns

  1. Parts and accessories may be returned for a full refund if:
  • The item is unused
  • The item is in original packaging
  • The item is returned in the same condition as supplied
  1. Items that show signs of use, damage, or incorrect installation are not eligible for refund, unless the item is faulty under ACL.
  2. Proof of purchase is required for all refunds or exchanges.

5. Refund Process

  1. Approved refunds will be processed via online bank transfer only.
  2. Refunds may take up to 4 business days to appear in the customer’s bank account once approved.
  3. Armor Trailers is not responsible for any costs incurred by the customer, including transport, removal, or logistics fees, unless required by law.

6. Inspection & Acceptance

  1. Customers must inspect the trailer or items thoroughly at the time of collection.
  2. By leaving the Armor Trailers premises, the customer is deemed to have accepted the product in its visible condition, subject to ACL consumer guarantees.
  3. Any initial faults or issues should be reported within 7 days of collection.

7. Faults, Complaints & ACL Rights

Armor Trailers complies fully with the Australian Consumer Law.

  • If a product has a minor fault, we will repair or replace the item within a reasonable time.
  • If a product has a major failure, customers are entitled to a replacement or refund as per ACL.
  • Complaints reported after 7 days will still be assessed where required by law, particularly for hidden or manufacturing defects.

Returns Policy (Online & In-Store)

8. Change of Mind

We offer a 7-day return period for change of mind, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

9. Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, please:

This allows us to lodge claims with our courier, insurer, or warehouse.

10. Incorrect Items

  1. If you receive the wrong item:
  • Photograph the item (including invoice number)
  • Email the photos and your original order details

We will send the correct item and cover return postage.

11. Missing or Damaged Parts

If parts are missing or damaged on arrival, we will repair, replace, or refund once the item is returned in original condition.

12. Damage Claims Timeframe

All delivery damage claims must be lodged within 2 business days of receiving the item.

Trailer Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

  • 36-month structural warranty
  • 12-month parts warranty
  • Warranty commences from the invoice date
  • Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover wear and tear items including:

  • Jockey wheels
  • Tyres
  • Wheels

The warranty also does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper operation.

Warranty Void Conditions

  • Proof of purchase cannot be provided
  • The trailer is misused, overloaded, hired out, or used outside its intended purpose
  • Repairs or modifications are carried out by unauthorised third parties
  • Improper maintenance is performed by anyone other than an approved Armor Trailers mechanic team

Warranty Claims Process

  1. Any fault must be reported within 7 days of discovery.
  2. Customers must provide:
  • Proof of purchase
  • Clear photos of the issue

Claims can be submitted via:

Armor Trailers will assess the issue and, where applicable, repair, replace, or refund the product.

If the trailer cannot be repaired or replaced, a refund will be issued excluding:

  • Registration fees
  • Permit fees
  • Postage or transport fees (unless required by law)

Australian Consumer Law Notice

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
